I love the funny shirts that my daughter and her friend made last week with fabric paint. They all decided that it would be fun to get some iron on letters and put them on the back of their plain t shirts. They then chose a few colors of fabric paint and went to decorating. Some drew names and some even drew some great animals. They are the best funny shirts that I have ever seen.

The last time that I saw funny shirts like that, was when I was in college. My roommates and I decided to make up some of our own funny designs. We used markers, paint, and glitter. I would think that our shirts would be considered offensive t shirts today. We put stuff about war and hate, stuff about drinking and partying and stuff about how we hated school on them.

None of our professors ever said a word, I am not even sure that they knew we had made them ourselves. If they had, then they may have made us change but most of them had so many kids in their classes that they did not care what we wore. I would not want my daughter to do anything like that when she goes to college, so I will never tell her this story.

I am really excited about the new business that my best friend and I are going to start. I have come up with some really great funny t shirts and my best friend is great on the computer. We are thinking that a t shirt website will do really well, especially if we promote it at our school. Lots of our friends enjoy wearing funny t shirts every day. This will give them someplace other than the mall to get them at.

My friend is also thinking that we need to appeal to a bigger market. She thinks that adult t shirts might be a really good idea. We live in a college town and have seen some of the adult t shirts that the kids wear. I think that we may have to ask our parents’ permission to be designing t shirts like those, but it is worth a try. If we can first start with the funny t shirts site and see how it goes, then we might be able to start adding more things to it later. We will have to run some sort of test over at the college, to see if they would be willing to buy from us.

When the local vinyl siding company stuck a flyer in our mailbox, we were unsure if we could afford to have vinyl siding installed or not. I had always wanted to do it, just because I knew it would improve the look of the house and I figured that since they usually insulate under the vinyl siding before installing it, it may also help with our energy costs.

I figured that by giving the vinyl siding company a call to give us and estimate, it would not hurt anything. If we could not afford it, then that was fine but at least we would know. The price that they quoted us was quite reasonable but my husband thought that we should get one other estimate to compare it to.

I looked up MN remodelers online to find another company to come out, and when I typed MN remodelers in, the vinyl siding company was the first one on the list. I chose to call the second MN remodeler on the list and they came and gave me the estimate later that day, it was very close to the one that we had gotten first but it was a little lower. We decided to go with the lower bid to have our vinyl siding installed.

When my future husband and I decided to get married and buy our first house together, we also wanted to make sure that in the event that something happened to either one of us, we would be prepared. We sat down with an attorney and drew up our wills. We also got a few life insurance quotes and compared them before deciding to go with a company that we found through a mutual friend.

Our friend kept telling us that we would not be disappointed if we chose the no exam life insurance company that he had. He told us how easy it was to get signed up and that as long as he pays his premiums, then it all just stays the same until he hits a certain age, which I cannot remember now.

My future husband and I set up our no exam life insurance policies and had our will altogether before we even got married or closed on our new house. It made us both have a sense of security knowing that we were prepared for not just ourselves, but each other too. When we told our parents about it, they told us that we were very smart and that they were glad that we were prepared for our future.
