My parents are living on a different state. I’ve been away for almost five years and I am really looking forward for the day that we will be reunited. One holiday, I planned of going back to our old house. I wanted to visit my parents and have a big party for them. I decided to sell scrap jewelry to my regular jeweler online so I can have enough money for the party.

My mom was so happy seeing me in our front door. For the first time in five years, I came back for them. I missed my parents a lot but since it’s a plane away from them, I needed to save enough money so I can spend time with them.

Selling old jewelry is the key for a family reunion. We hired a caterer and a set of musicians. We also invited our other relatives and friends for the party. I stayed in our ancestral house for a week and there’s no sweeter than home. I am planning to spend my Christmas vacation with them again and old jewels will make it possible one more time.
