My cat knocked over the rust remover that I had on the counter and I thought that my floor would be ruined. I had gotten the jar of evapo-rust at the local hardware store and planned on using it on some rusty old cans that I wanted to clean up. I knew that I should have put the lid back on, but I was only using it for a brief time.

The cat was actually supposed to be in the garage, anyway since it was being really annoying earlier. I am sure that one of the kids let it in and that is why he jumped up on the counter and spilled the evapo-rust can. I hope that I have enough rust remover left in it to finish up the job.
