While searching online for cyalume glow sticks one day, I came across a company that sold so many other things besides the glow sticks. I was shocked to see glow paint that you could actually put on your face. I figured that Halloween could be really cool with some paint like that to enhance your costume.

I had heard that cyalume glow sticks were some of the safest kinds out there. I wanted to have them for our party that we were having on Labor Day. I figured that almost everyone had a kid or two under ten years of age and I know that I loved those when I was a kid.

I was not sure if I should order some glow paint or not. I thought that if the kids loved it, then I would be the hero. But, it could scare some of the little ones and then I would be known as the jerk that ruined the party. If I knew that my wife would not be mad, then I would have just ordered it and had fun. Without a guarantee of everyone liking them, I just decided to go with the cyalume glow sticks.

We all had a great time at the party and the kids loved opening up and snapping the glow sticks to make them work. We put them on them as necklaces as they ran around the yard, when it got dark.
