I saw the coolest thing when I went into this little pet shop today. I wanted to take home every cat and dog in the shop but of course, my mother said no. I cried and stomped my feet, but she would not budge. The cashier came over to help out, and told my mother that they sold these cool custom puzzles of the animals in the shop. They had actually sent each of the animal’s pictures to a company that makes photo puzzles. I knew that I really wanted the black and white dog, so instead of getting the actual dog, my mother bought me the puzzle.
The cashier said they only ordered a small number of the custom puzzles, and that way if the dog was sold, they would not be stuck with a bunch of the photo puzzles. They knew that there was a market for such a thing, when a lot of the kids who come into the store could not just take home any pet that they wanted to.
This way, the child leaves with what is like a picture of the animal and they will spend time putting it together, which helps out the parents too. Anything that keeps a child busy for more than ten minutes is something that my mom will definitely buy.
